Open the Finder, click Go on the menu at the top of the screen,
and select Connect to Server. Enter the following address, smb://172.16.16.211.

You’ll be prompted to authenticate with the appropriate
credentials. Please contact IT support if this is the first time you connecting a device to the file server and for us to help with the login process.

After you’ve connected, the file server will appear under the
Shared column in the Finder’s sidebar and on the right side of the window, you
should find the Channel management folder.

To automatically connect to the shared folder each time you log
in,
a.
open the System Preferences window and navigate to Users and
Groups > Login Items. Drag and drop the network share from under the Shared
column in Finder to the list of Login Items.

access later:
