Download and install the GTC Chrome extension:


Initiate calls within Google Chrome using Click to Connect. As needed, you can enable the extension to search your callers’ caller ID  or phone number within Google or with GSP automatically to learn more about who’s calling.


About this task :

   Important:  Only the last 2 versions of Google Chrome support this extension.

   Note:  The Google Chrome extension login session expires after  7  days.



1. Click here  to go to the Chrome Web Store.
   
2. Click  Add to Chrome  and then click  Add extension .
   
3. When prompted, sign in with your GoToConnect credentials.
   
4. From  Let's get started  select your  Language  and  Extension .
   
5. Open GoToConnect desktop, web, mobile device, or a VoIP phone, and then click  Test a call  to test its connectivity.
   
6. If your test call completes successfully, click  Done .
   

          Customize the Extention to work with Google Search and GSP:

1. From the extension's  Options page( GTC for Chrome option page ), Click on Account tab
   
2.  Select "All Devices" as your preferred device
   
   
3. Click on the "Chrome Extension" tab
   
4. Enable "Call Notifications" and "Caller ID search".
   
5. select "When a call is ringing" from the drop-down box 
   
   
6. Select which sites you want to do an auto-search on.
   Check the box next to
1. LinkedIn if you want the system to do a search in LinkedIn with the caller's ID Name
   
2. Google Search if you want the system to do a google search on the incoming call's phone number in the US dial format
   
3. Google Contacts if you want system to do a google search on the incoming call's phone number with dashes
   
4. Adding a custom template to enable auto search of incoming caller's phone number on Dahua GSP system.
1. Click on "+add a custom template" 
   
2. input "GSP phone number search" in the Name field
   
3. input https://gsp.dahuasecurity.com/#/callcenter/call?wd=${CNUM(dashes)} into the Website field text box
   
4. hit the "Add Template" button
   
5. Check the box next to "GSP Phone Number Search" 
   
   

5.   Make a test call to your GTC phone number to make sure the system auto open up a new brower tabs and perform searches of the incoming phone call's number on any your selected sites and/or GSP.
